Personal Safety
4:30 PM -
7:30 PM
Business people sometimes find themselves having clients in their workspace or find themselves in clients homes or workspaces. How can they minimize any safety issues? In this course participants will come away feeling more aware of potential threats to their safety in multiple situations. They will gain confidence and skills on how to avoid, diffuse, and escape from situations that involve a threat to their personal safety. They will also be in position to write policies and procedures to minimize any possible threats.

Business Dialogue
2:00 PM -
4:00 PM
Many business owners have confided to us that one of the greatest challenges they face is overcoming the sense of isolation that often accompanies running a home-based business. The regular daily interpersonal connections that they enjoyed before starting their businesses tend to fall off somewhat; family and friends don't always understand the issues facing entrepreneurs; and it becomes difficult to maintain the self-motivation necessary to succeed in business. If you can relate to some of these challenges and would like to explore them further, then Business Dialogue is for you. Join other business owners for a 2-hour discussion, led by a sensitive facilitator, as the group exchanges ideas, learns from each other (and occasionally vents!) Maximum 10 participants.
