This 5 day intensive course is for people who currently teach or who aspire to teach adults and who wish to enhance the skills they already have. Participants will explore a variety of topics including a philosophy of education, curriculum development, teaching styles and methods, learning styles, temperament type, special learning needs and disabilities, classroom management, the principles of andragogy and its relation to pedagogy. Participants will also have an opportunity to do some practice teaching with the group and to receive constructive criticism from their peers. The class will run from 9am to 4pm with an hour break for lunch. Some additional work will be assigned at the end of each day.$900.00 + HST
